This is a well-rendered graphic. It reminds me of looking at a star through a kaleidoscope. The use of hot colors against the black background is dramatic. As a functional mandala, I don't think there's enough variability in the design for meditation. At least the two ways I use mandalas for meditation are images that draw my conscious in towards the center of the image that gives me a sense of traveling outside of my immediate surroundings, or images that have enough complexity and symbolism to tell a story--even if it's an unconscious story. But perhaps this wasn't the artists intention. I can easily see this design on a wall, as a notebook, or a textile etc...
